The vineyards span the councils of Castagneto Carducci and Bibbona. Bordeaux varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, and Merlot thrive here, planted on quaternary deposits. Olive trees also grow alongside the vines. The entire estate covers about 100 acres of scenic Tuscan countryside.

Founded in 1999, Podere Sapaio is based in Bolgheri within the Maremma region. Its vineyards sit on old flood deposits of sandy beds and calcareous soil, offering perfect terroir for Cabernet Franc and Merlot. Their dedication to Bordeaux expressions has earned international recognition.
