Insider: Marramiero

Extension: 135 acres

Sant’Andrea – Rosciano: The historical root of the estate, planted in the early 1900s. Volcanic and clay-rich soil nourishes the vines, covering about 50 hectares (30 under vine).

Milano – Rosciano: 27 hectares of land (21 of Montepulciano d’Abruzzo, 6 of Pecorino), with olives and forest completing the terrain.

Tratturo – Rosciano: This estate sits at 200m above sea level, benefiting from full circular exposure and cooling wind circulation. Hosts 3 hectares of Trebbiano and 700 olive trees.

Amarello – Ofena: Located in the “Oven of Abruzzo”, its stony, drained soil challenges the vines to dig deep, cultivating Montepulciano, Trebbiano, Pecorino, and Pinot Noir.

The Marramiero family’s journey began over a century ago. In the 1960s and 70s they expanded with new vineyards, and in the 1990s, Dante Marramiero modernized the estate. His vision merged innovation with love for the land and is now carried forward by his children and team.

“Never betray work. Desire it and love it. In it you will find fidelity, serenity, and well-being.”
